Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs that are a maximum of six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being beautifully dyed pink, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike blanket. It is barely scratchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It provides warmth in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything to ensure the blanket feels soft; for this reason, the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is extra pre-combed, although this quality is naturally scratchier than a cotton blanket would be, and the blanket may pill a little, especially at the beginning.

The pink Chevron throw can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Set the spin speed as low as possible to prevent the blanket from felting. To ensure you enjoy your wool blanket for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Keep in mind that natural wool grease has a self-cleaning effect and that you will gradually wash it out with every wash. The pink Chevron blanket airs out in the fresh air, while the sofa at home has to do without it. Airing out also works best against any sheep smell that may occur at the beginning.
