Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs that are a maximum of six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being beautifully dyed green, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike blanket. It is hardly scratchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It warms in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything possible to ensure the blanket feels soft; for this, the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is specially pre-combed. Nevertheless, this quality is naturally scratchier than a cotton blanket would be, and the blanket may shed a little, especially at the beginning.

The olive-green Chevron throw can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Keep the spin speed as low as possible so that the blanket does not felt. To ensure you enjoy your wool blanket for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Keep in mind that natural wool grease has a self-cleaning effect, and you wash it out bit by bit with every wash. The green Chevron blanket belongs outside on the clothesline to air out, where the wind can blow through the herringbone weave. Airing out also works best against the sheep smell that may occur at the beginning.
