Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs no more than six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being beautifully dyed, spun into yarn, and then woven into this cushion cover. It is hardly scratchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It warms in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything possible to ensure the cushion cover feels soft, for which the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is extra pre-combed; nevertheless, this quality is naturally somewhat scratchier than a cotton cushion cover would be.

The Chevron cushion cover can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Set the spin speed as low as possible to prevent the cover from felting. To ensure you enjoy your cushion cover for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Remember that natural wool fat has a self-cleaning effect and that you wash it out gradually with every wash. The caramel-colored cushion cover can be aired out on the clothesline outdoors without needing to go into the machine. Airing out also helps perfectly against any sheep odor that may be present initially.
