The extraordinary powers of the majestic STONE PINE, which can live to be up to 1,000 years old, have been valued and utilized for centuries. Our ancestors already used the wood in many ways. Heated debates were held in cozy stone pine parlors, children were placed in cradles made of stone pine wood, and valuable garments were stored in stone pine chests. The unmistakable fragrance of our soaps, for which we use pure Tyrolean stone pine oil, reflects the primal power of the "Queen of the Alps," as the Pinus cembra is rightly called.
Tiroler Reine – palm oil-free soap bar
Exquisite ingredients, at least 3 milling processes, and extraordinary alpine scents distinguish the Tiroler Reine Stone Pine Soap from the Walde company. As the base ingredient for the stone pine soap, Tiroler Reine has chosen shea butter, as there is no local plant-based soap base that comes close to this quality. The shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree comes from Burkina Faso in West Africa. The nuts are collected as part of a women's project founded in 2009 called ABPJF (Association Burkinabé pour la Promotion de la Jeune Fille).
The special feature of the plant-based fat in shea butter is the high degree of superfatting when using the soap. Every bar of Tiroler Reine soap also disappears completely in the bathroom: thanks to its low water and air content, the soap does not break into small pieces when it has already been used for some time, but remains a supple, wonderfully scented piece of soap with a fine, creamy lather until the very end.

Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-maker family to create unmistakable soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the laundresses of Sellrain and the glacial milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, the cowslip as a harbinger of spring, and the freshness of mountain mint, all the way to elderberry, which conveys protection and a sense of security.
