Tiroler Reine – Alpine Valeriana – Liquid Soap 300ml
The Tiroler Reine Alpine Valeriana Liquid Soap has a wonderfully aromatic scent, reminiscent of the blossoms of the valerian plant. This liquid soap, which can be used for both hand washing and showering, represents tranquility.
Alpine Valeriana – the scent of the Alps
When the slopes of the Alps glow purple above the treeline in May and June, the flowering season of the ALPINE ROSE has begun or is approaching its peak. The heath family plant, also known as the Alpenrose, "thunder rose," or alpine rhododendron, has been attributed various and sometimes contradictory qualities in folklore: superstitious hikers would throw away their bouquets of alpine roses when a thunderstorm approached, for fear of being struck by lightning. Farmers in North Tyrol, on the other hand, nailed alpine roses to the ridge beams of their farms to protect them from "thunder and lightning." In the language of flowers of the Romantic era, it is the symbol of those in love. If a secret admirer brought his beloved an alpine rose, it meant "When shall we see each other again?" and was intended to promise future happiness. The delicate, sweet scent of this soap is intended to evoke that incomparable feeling of first love.
Tiroler Reine – Liquid soap with a fine lather
Tiroler Reine liquid soaps are authentic soaps: unlike conventional liquid soaps, they are produced using traditional manufacturing methods in soap-base kettles – without synthetic surfactants, but with a natural glycerin content. The selected raw materials consist of high-quality, nourishing olive and coconut oils, beeswax, which contributes to a pleasant consistency, and Tyrolean beef tallow, which was used in earlier times for soap making. This traditional local ingredient has a replenishing effect and provides a fine, creamy lather.
Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-making family to create distinctive soaps. Each soap tells its own story, from the laundresses of Sellrain and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valeriana, the cowslip as a harbinger of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderflower, which conveys protection and comfort.
These bottles, however, are slightly thinner, which leads to indentations during the filling process. If you open the flip-top cap briefly, the indented area will return to its original shape.
No preservatives or emulsifiers are added to Tiroler Reine liquid soaps. As a result, changes in viscosity or color settling may occur from time to time. A warm spot helps with this: place the liquid soap by a sunny window for a few hours and then shake it vigorously, and the usual consistency will return.
