Tiroler Reine – Hay – Liquid Soap 300ml
Tiroler Reine Hay Liquid Soap smells as aromatic as a barn full of fresh hay. This liquid soap, which can be used for both washing hands and showering, represents warmth.
Hay – the scent of the Alps
The scent of sun-dried HAY triggers a special sense of well-being. Our local mountain meadows are home to a great variety of grasses, alpine flowers, and wild herbs. They are the guarantee of alpine biodiversity, a paradise of freshness for livestock in the summer, and a pantry for feeding during the long winter months. The hay grass is gently cut at the height of the flowering season in early June and air-dried. The hay grasses incorporated into our solid soaps come from these Tyrolean mountain meadows. After all, grass and hay have always been, and remain, of great value to humans. Generations ago, people would help themselves by placing a handful of hay between the tiled stove and their back, letting the warmth of the hay work its effect. And as early as the 19th century, hay baths were being used. With our soap, it is almost as if you were lying in a hay barn, drifting into a cozy sleep.
Tiroler Reine – Liquid soap by Carl Alois Walde
Tiroler Reine liquid soaps are authentic soaps: unlike conventional liquid soaps, they are produced at Carl Alois Walde using traditional kettle-based manufacturing methods – without synthetic surfactants, but with a natural glycerin content. The selected raw materials consist of high-quality, nourishing olive and coconut oils, beeswax, which contributes to a pleasant consistency, and Tyrolean beef tallow, which was used for soap making in earlier times. This traditional, local ingredient has a replenishing effect and provides a fine, creamy lather.
Tiroler Reine, an idea by Therese Fiegl, is a soap that incorporates the centuries-old knowledge of the Walde soap-making family to create distinctive soaps. Each of these wonderful soaps tells its own story: from the washerwomen of Sellrain and glacier milk, to the alpine rose and love, the forget-me-not, the resilience of the birch, the alpine valerian, the cowslip as a herald of spring, the freshness of mountain mint, and elderberry, which conveys protection and comfort.
However, these bottles are slightly thinner, which can lead to indentations during filling. If you briefly open the flip-top cap, the indented area will return to its original shape.
No preservatives or emulsifiers are added to Tiroler Reine liquid soaps. As a result, changes in viscosity or color separation may occasionally occur. Warmth resolves this quickly: place the bottle in the sun on a windowsill for a few hours, shake well, and the usual consistency will return.
