Linen Tea Towels Set of 3 – Blue Hour

Linen Tea Towel Set of 3 Blue Hour by Linen Tales

The Linen Tea Towel Set of 3 Blue Hour by Linen Tales brings together misty blue-grey, light grey, and deep navy blue. All three kitchen towels are made from European flax, pre-washed with stone, and feature a loop in one corner.

Linen Tea Towel Set of 3 Blue Hour is a trio of kitchen towels from Linen Tales in Vilnius, designed to polish glasses, dry salad, and lift pots from the stove. Each towel measures 45 by 65 centimeters and carries its shade from the hour between sunset and darkness.

The colors of the hour between day and night

Blue Fog captures the misty blue-grey that hangs over the water just before the contours blur. Navy provides a contrast with the deep navy blue that recalls the same hour once the sky has turned. Light Grey sits as a light grey between the two, holding the middle ground without drawing attention to itself. Three towels in a single scale look calmer on the hook than three different colors. Lifting your gaze over the sink, you see the same gradation as in the evening sky outside.

The day of cooking demands more than one towel

Between preparing, cooking, and washing up, more towels circulate through a kitchen than the hook might suggest. One dries the dishes, one is already in the laundry after prepping herbs, and one waits folded in the cupboard for its turn. This rotation keeps the supply in motion, ensuring you never have to reach for a damp towel. With a set of three, each towel does its part rather than working alone.

A fabric with body, double hemmed

With 215 grams per square meter, this linen has enough body to carry a wet pot without soaking through. Linen Tales double-folds all four edges so that no thread will fray for years, and integrates the loop into the same hem. Before being cut, each length of fabric goes through stone washing, which softens the fabric and handles most of the shrinkage. This means the towels emerge from their packaging soft and retain their dimensions.

A guest gift that ends up on the hook

Each towel leaves Linen Tales individually rolled in a paper band, and three rolls in graduated blues need no further wrapping. When invited for dinner, you bring something that won't disappear into a drawer after the evening is over. Between wine and flowers, a set of kitchen towels is a gift that will actually be in hand the next morning. The host can tell by the rolled paper that this wasn't something packed in a rush.

At 40 degrees and a low spin speed

The Linen Tea Towels should be washed on a 40-degree gentle cycle, with a spin speed of no more than 600 RPM to keep the fabric from distorting. For dyed linen, choose a mild detergent without bleach, or the navy and blue-grey will lose their depth over the years. It is best to air dry the towels; if using a dryer, use a low temperature and remove them while still damp. They never need fabric softener, as the fiber naturally becomes more supple.
