Ceramic pitcher 1l – bold stripes black

Casa Cubista – Ceramic Pitcher 1l – bold stripes black

The Casa Cubista ceramic pitcher is a beautiful carafe with wide black stripes and a one-liter capacity. Both beautiful and practical, this terracotta pitcher with a handle is made of high-quality stoneware and is handcrafted and glazed for Casa Cubista in Portugal. In the past, before glass became mass-produced, it was common to serve drinks in ceramic vessels. Today, you can serve both cold and hot drinks in this ceramic pitcher with a handle. The terracotta pitcher also looks excellent as a decoration or as a vase.

The one-liter pitcher with black stripes looks right on any table, regardless of whether the plates next to it feature dash, ray, or terracotta patterns. Mix and match – give it a try!

Care instructions: Please wash the pitcher by hand with hot soapy water before first use, rinse with clear water, and allow to air dry. The bottom of pitchers, mugs, and vases may sweat initially. This is normal and will decrease over time. Please protect sensitive surfaces that may be affected by water marks. If you use a vase or pitcher for fresh flowers, please change the water daily. This prevents the smell of flower water from seeping into the terracotta.

Casa Cubista – Ceramic pitcher from Portugal

Casa Cubista was founded about ten years ago by David Pimentel and his friend Arrens in Olhão in the Algarve. David has Portuguese roots and wanted to bring quality craftsmanship from his home country to tables in other countries as well, because sitting at a set table with family or friends is pure joy. With his beautiful pitchers, Casa Cubista brings a love for beautiful things into your everyday life.

Casa Cubista ceramic tableware is produced according to David’s designs in a family-run factory in the Algarve. Even if not every bowl is made on a potter's wheel, each one is handled, cast, sanded, and individually glazed by Rui—whose family has mastered the pottery craft for over 200 years—and his aunt Regina, among others, using these great glazes that are, incidentally, food-safe and free of harmful chemicals. The pitcher should be washed by hand after use with cold or hot drinks so that the glaze between the black stripes retains its shine. Each pitcher is unique. Small irregularities in the glaze are normal and intentional. This is why every bowl, every plate, and every pitcher always looks a little different. Casa Cubista ceramics are truly handcrafted.
