The summer of 2018 heated up Rheinhessen like few others, which is why the hand-harvest began as early as August 29th. At this estate, Riesling stands alongside Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Meunier as the German counterpart.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003ch3\u003eVineyard peach, green apple, and lime\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe traditional sparkling wine is scented with white blossoms and yellow fruits, juicy vineyard peach and green apple, accompanied by citrusy notes of lime.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOn the palate, it remains crisp, clear, and juicy, with a creaminess derived from 36 months on the lees. At 6.6 grams of acidity per liter, it is mild for a Riesling—a characteristic of the hot vintage—while 5 grams of residual sugar soften the final edges.
