It is woven from 100% lambswool. The elegant, ruby-red Chevron wool blanket is woven in a herringbone pattern. This fine pattern originates from English Harris Tweed fabrics, which is also where the English name "herringbone" comes from. The zigzag pattern is traditionally used for woolen fabrics from which jackets or blazers are sewn, but it is also extremely stylish as a throw.

Whether you use the Klippan Chevron wool blanket as a throw for curling up on the sofa, as a bedspread, or as a cozy blanket to drape over your shoulders on balmy summer evenings, you will love it. The cuddly sofa blanket is not too heavy yet remains warm. At 130x200cm, the Chevron wool blanket is a good size for a cozy throw. Ultimately, along with the natural materials, softness, and beautiful appearance, size plays an important role in making the Klippan Chevron blanket your favorite. If you are looking for a ruby-red wool blanket that fits your interior style, this Klippan Chevron wool blanket is the perfect choice.

Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs that are a maximum of six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being beautifully dyed red, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike blanket. It is barely itchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It warms in the winter and cools in the summer. Klippan does everything to ensure the blanket feels soft; the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is specially pre-combed for this purpose. Nevertheless, this quality is naturally scratchier than a cotton blanket would be, and the blanket may shed slightly at the beginning.

The ruby-red Chevron throw can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Set the spin speed as low as possible so that the blanket does not felt. To ensure you enjoy your wool blanket for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Keep in mind that the natural wool grease has a self-cleaning effect and that you wash it out little by little with every wash. Hang the ruby-red Chevron blanket outside on the clothesline, and the wind will take over part of the care. Airing it out also works perfectly against any sheep-like smell that might be present at the beginning.

Chevron – made of lambswool

Design: Klippan (2018)

Quality: 100% lambswool

Color: ruby red

Care: Hand wash and wool machine wash at 30 °C

Size: approx. 130cm x 200cm (incl. fringes)

Made in Europe

Klippan Yllefabrik – Tradition and Swedish design

Klippan Yllefabrik products combine modern Swedish design with a tradition of over a hundred years in spinning and weaving textiles from wool, cotton, and linen.
