It is woven from 100% lambswool. The elegant, olive-green Chevron wool blanket features a herringbone pattern. This fine pattern finds its origins in English Harris Tweed fabrics, which is also where the English name "herringbone" comes from. The zigzag pattern is traditionally used for wool fabrics from which jackets or blazers are tailored, but it is also exceptionally stylish as a throw blanket.

Whether you use the Klippan Chevron wool blanket as a throw for snuggling on the sofa, as a bedspread, or as a cozy blanket to drape over your shoulders on balmy summer evenings, you will love it. The cozy sofa blanket is not too heavy yet remains warm. The Chevron wool blanket, measuring 130x200cm, is a great size for a snuggle blanket. Ultimately, in addition to the natural materials, softness, and beautiful appearance, size plays an important role in making the Klippan Chevron blanket your favorite. If you are looking for a green wool blanket that fits your interior style, this Klippan Chevron wool blanket is just the right choice.

Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs that are a maximum of six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being beautifully dyed green, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike blanket. It is hardly scratchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It warms in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything possible to ensure the blanket feels soft; for this, the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is specially pre-combed. Nevertheless, this quality is naturally scratchier than a cotton blanket would be, and the blanket may shed a little, especially at the beginning.

The olive-green Chevron throw can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Keep the spin speed as low as possible so that the blanket does not felt. To ensure you enjoy your wool blanket for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Keep in mind that natural wool grease has a self-cleaning effect, and you wash it out bit by bit with every wash. The green Chevron blanket belongs outside on the clothesline to air out, where the wind can blow through the herringbone weave. Airing out also works best against the sheep smell that may occur at the beginning.

Chevron – made of lambswool

Design: Klippan (2018)

Quality: 100% lambswool

Color: green

Care: Hand wash and wool cycle machine wash at 30 °C

Size: approx. 130cm x 200cm (incl. fringe)

Made in Europe

Klippan Yllefabrik – Tradition and Swedish design

Klippan Yllefabrik products combine modern Swedish design with more than a hundred years of tradition in spinning and weaving textiles from wool, cotton, and linen.
