It is woven from 100% lambswool. The elegant, caramel-colored Chevron wool blanket is woven in a herringbone pattern. This fine pattern has its origins in English Harris Tweed fabrics, which is also where the English name "herringbone" comes from. The zigzag pattern is traditionally used for wool fabrics from which jackets or blazers are tailored, but it is also extremely stylish as a throw.

Whether you use the Klippan Chevron wool blanket as a throw for snuggling up on the sofa, as a bedspread, or as a cozy blanket to drape over your shoulders on balmy summer evenings, you will love it. The cozy sofa blanket is not too heavy, yet it is warm. Measuring 130x200 cm, the Chevron wool blanket is a good size for a snuggle blanket. Ultimately, along with natural materials, softness, and a beautiful aesthetic, size plays an important role in making the Klippan Chevron blanket your favorite. If you are looking for a caramel-colored wool blanket that fits your home style, this Klippan Chevron wool blanket is just the right choice.

Eco-wool – naturally!

Eco-wool is a natural and renewable raw material. The lambswool comes from lambs that are no more than six months old. It is particularly soft because the fibers are still very fine. After shearing, the eco-wool is combed and loosened before being dyed a wonderful dark yellow, spun into yarn, and then woven into this dreamlike blanket. It is barely scratchy, breathable, and possesses excellent insulating properties. It warms in winter and cools in summer. Klippan does everything to ensure the blanket feels soft; for this, the Oeko-Tex certified lambswool is specially pre-combed, though this quality is naturally scratchier than a cotton blanket would be, and the blanket may shed a little at first.

The caramel-colored Chevron throw can be washed at 30 degrees, either by hand in the bathtub or on the wool cycle of your washing machine. Keep the spin speed as low as possible to prevent the blanket from felting. To ensure you enjoy your wool blanket for a long time, it is best to use a mild wool detergent and avoid fabric softener. Keep in mind that natural lanolin has a self-cleaning effect and that you will gradually wash it out with every wash. Hanging the caramel-colored Chevron blanket out on the line helps it air out, meaning it requires less frequent washing. Airing it out is also the best way to remove any sheep odor that may be present at the beginning.

Chevron – made of lambswool

Design: Klippan (2018)

Quality: 100% lambswool

Color: caramel

Care: Hand wash and wool machine wash at 30 °C

Size: approx. 130cm x 200cm (incl. fringes)

Made in Europe

Klippan Yllefabrik – Tradition and Swedish design

Klippan Yllefabrik products combine modern Swedish design with a more than hundred-year-old tradition of spinning and weaving textiles made from wool, cotton, and linen.
