As with its predecessor, the Sangiovese vines are between 20 and 30 years old, harvested by hand in the second half of September.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter 15 days of maceration and fermentation in stainless steel, this vintage also matures for twelve months in cement vats and another twelve months in large Italian oak barrels. The process remains identical across vintages; only the raw material changes with each harvest year.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe slightly milder autumn of 2023 ultimately results in a wine that seems more accessible even in its youth than the 2021, without losing the structure a Riserva needs.
